E. The permittee shall not place the hood over any <br /> meter when the space is occupied by another vehicle; and <br /> shall before vacating the space at the conclusion of the <br /> work remove the hood. The hood shall not be allowed to <br /> remain in place for over one hour when the space is not <br /> occupied by an authorized vehicle; nor shall it be <br /> allowed to remain in place after 6 P.M. on any day or on <br /> Sunday or a holiday. It shall not be used during hours <br /> when parking or• stopping in the parking meter space is <br /> prohibited. No passenger type vehicle shall be parked <br /> in the space covered by the hooded parking meter. <br /> F. The Commissioner of Public Safety may revoke any <br /> permit if the service zone hood is used for any purpose <br /> other than that authorized herein or for any violation of <br /> the terms and conditions of this ordinance . Upon revo- <br /> cation the hood shall be immediately returned to the <br /> Police Department and all fees paid shall be forfeited. <br /> Police officers finding such hood in use shall investigate <br /> the use being made thereof and if it is found in violation <br /> of this ordinance shall report the facts to the Com- <br /> missioner of Public Safety. Any police officer finding <br /> any unlawful use of the service zone hood shall issue and <br /> affix a notice in the form and in the manner provided by <br /> ordinances. The notice shall indicate the unlawful use of <br /> the parking space. <br /> G. Any such permit issued hereunder shall, unless <br /> revoked, be valid for a period of one year from the first <br /> of January or for any portion of the year from the date <br /> of issuance to the following December 31. <br /> H. The fee for a permit shall be S30. 00 per year <br /> or $2.50 for each month or portion thereof for periods <br /> less than such year. The permittee shall also pay at the <br /> time of issuance of the hood $10.00 in payment for the use <br /> of the hood, padlock and keys which shall remain the <br /> property of the City of Everett. In case hoods, padlocks <br /> and keys become lost or destroyed or so defaced that they <br /> are no longer usable, the permittee shall pay the City <br /> 37.00 for issuance of a new hood and shall pay the City <br /> for each new padlock $2.00 and for each new key required <br /> S1.00. <br /> NTAYOR� <br /> ATTEST: <br /> • <br /> ,� <br /> Deputy C IT CLERK <br /> Passed: Oct. 22, 1957 <br /> Published : Oct. 23, 1957 <br />
