Notice of any such intended redemption shall be given by one publication thereof in the official city newspaper not more than forty nor less than thirty days prior to said redemption date and by mailing a like notice at the same time to Blyth & Co . , Inc . , as account manager of the purchasers of these bonds at their sale by the city, at its office in Seattle, Washington, or to the successor in business, if any, of said company at its main or local office . This bond is one of an issue of water revenue bonds of the city of like amount, date and tenor except as to number, interest rate and date of maturity in the total principal sum of $3,850,000, which bonds are issued pursuant to ordi- nances of the city duly and regularly adopted, for the purpose of providig funds to acquire, construct and install certain additions and improvements to the water supply and distribution system of the city, and is payable solely out of the gross revenue of said system. The City of Everett hereby covenants and agrees with the owner and holder of this bond that it will keep and perform all the covenants of this bond and of Ordinances No . 3631 and No . to be by it kept and performed. The city does hereby pledge and bind itself to set aside from the gross revenue of such water supply and distribution -19-
