F. HEIGHT LIMITATIONS: <br /> No building shall exceed 80 ft. above the average <br /> elevation at the foot of the building. <br /> G. OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS : <br /> { <br /> Off-street parking shall be provided as specified <br /> under Sec. 17. <br /> • Section 3 : That Section 21 of Ordinance No. 3572 of the <br /> City of Everett is hereby amended to read as follows : <br /> Section 21. AMENDMENTS <br /> By subsequent Ordinances and after due notice and public <br /> hearing, the Council may amend, supplement, change, or modify <br /> this Ordinance or any part thereof upon the recommendation <br /> of or with the concurrance of the Planning Commission. Amend- <br /> ments may be initiated in the following manner: <br /> 1 By motion of the Council or Planning Commission. <br /> (2) By the filing with the Planning Commission of a <br /> petition of owner of property within the City and <br /> within the area to be rezoned, which petition <br /> shall be on a standard form prescribed by the <br /> Planning Commission, and shall be accompanied by <br /> a receipt for a fee of $15 .00, payable to the City <br /> Treasurer and deposited to the credit of the City. <br /> No part of the fee shall be returnable . <br /> The Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing on <br /> .any such petition, notice of which hearing and of the pro- <br /> posed amendment shall be given by publication in the official <br /> newspaper of the City at least seven days before the date of <br /> such hearing. <br /> A petition for a change in azone classification or zone <br /> • boundary line shall have the signatures of not less than 51% <br /> of the owners of property lying within the area to be rezoned <br /> and the signatures of not less than 51% of the owners of <br /> property lying within 200 ft. of the area to be zoned. <br /> In recommending the adoption of any proposed amendment <br /> or in concurring With the. Council on any proposed amendment, <br /> the Planning Commission shall fully state its reasons at <br /> the public hearing before the Council, describing any change <br /> in conditions that it believes makes the amendment advisable <br /> and specifically setting forth the manner in which the ` <br /> Planning Commission is of the opinion that the amendment is <br /> in harmony with a comprehensive plan of land use for the <br /> town. <br /> Before adopting any amendment, the Council shall adopt <br /> a resolution setting forth the findings upon which it deter- <br /> mines such amendment to be required by the public interest <br /> in the furtherance of the purposes set forth in Section 2 <br /> of this Ordinance . <br /> T4T11YOPL <br /> Attest: <br /> 41,1 ;7(/1/77 --'' <br /> A;ity Cler <br /> / <br /> Passed: Rpr11 .2, 1957 <br /> Published: " 9, 1957 <br />
