2 r <br /> Section 11: PARKING METER DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named employees in the Park- <br /> ing Meter Department, to-wit: <br /> One Parking Meter Serviceman and one Assistant <br /> Parking Meter Serviceman. <br /> It shall be the duty of such employees to perform the <br /> duties as directed by the Commissioner of Finance. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY <br /> Section 12: HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and assistants <br /> in the Health Department, to-wit: <br /> One Health Officer (part time) ; one Senior Sanitarian <br /> rink) ; two Senior Sanitarians; one Meat Inspector <br /> art time) ; one Stenographer-Clerk; one Nurse and <br /> one Bacteriologist. <br /> It shall be the duty of such officers and assistants to <br /> perform the duties pertaining to said department under the dir- <br /> ection of the Health Officer and the Commissioner of Safety. <br /> Section 13: POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and assistants <br /> in the Police Department, to-wit: <br /> One Chief; Four Captains; one Captain used as <br /> Administrative Assistant; one Supt. Bureau of <br /> Identification; one Asst. Supt. Bureau of Identifica- <br /> tion; Fourteen Sergeants; two Supervisory Sergeants <br /> when so assigned; twenty-nine Patrolmen, First <br /> Class; two Patrolmen, Second Class; one Policewoman, <br /> First Class; one Policewoman, Second Class; one <br /> Clerk-Stenographer; one Clerk-Stenographer (part time) <br /> It shall be the duty of the officers and assistants in <br /> said Police Department to perform the duties indicated by the <br /> name of their employment, and such other duties as the Chief of <br /> Police or Commissioner of Safety may authorize and direct. <br /> Section 14: GARAGE DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named employee in the Garage <br /> Department, to-wit: <br /> One Mechanic <br /> It shall be the duty of such employee to perform the <br /> duties as directed by the Commissioner of Public Safety. <br /> Section 15 : FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and assistants <br /> in the Fire Department, to-wit: <br /> One Chief; three Battalion Chiefs; one Supt. Fire & <br /> Police Signals; one Assistant Supt. Fire & Police <br /> Signals; one Fire Marshal; one Master Mechanic; <br /> one Captain & Drillmaster; Fifteen Captains; one <br /> -3- <br />
