• <br /> After all piping authorized by the permit has been in- <br /> stalled and after all portions thereof which are to be covered <br /> or concealed and after fixtures and appliances have been attach- <br /> ed thereto a final inspection shall be made to determine that <br /> appliances, appurtenances, vents, diverters, and controls are, <br /> and have been installed in accordance with the intent of this <br /> ordinance. <br /> SECTION 19 - AUTHORITY TO DISCONNECT <br /> The Administrative Authority or the Gas Company is here- <br /> by authorized to disconnect any gas piping and/or appliances <br /> which shall be found not to conform to the requirements of this <br /> ordinance or which may be found defective and in such condition <br /> as to endanger life or property. <br /> Where such disconnection has been made, a notice shall <br /> be attached to such gas piping and/or appliance, which shall <br /> state the same has been disconnected, together with the reason <br /> therefor. <br /> Such attached notice shall not be removed nor shall the <br /> gas piping and/or appliance be reconnected until authorized by <br /> the Administrative Authority so to do. <br /> It shall be unlawful to remove or disconnect any gas <br /> piping or any gas appliance without capping or plugging with a <br /> screw joint fitting the outlet from which said pipe or appliance <br /> was removed. All outlets to which gas appliances are not con- <br /> nected shall be left capped gas tight on any piping system which <br /> has been installed, altered or repaired. <br /> SECTION 20 - TEMPORARY USE OF GAS <br /> Where temporary use of gas is desired and the Administra- <br /> tive Authority deems the use necessary, a permit may be issued <br /> for such use for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days, <br /> provided that such gas piping system otherwise conforms to the <br /> requirements of this ordinance regarding material, sizing and <br /> safety. <br /> SECTION 21 - CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL <br /> When the final piping inspection has been made, if the <br /> -16- <br />
