Washington State Highway #1-I, also known as <br /> Mukilteo Boulevard, from a point 150 yards west of <br /> the Everett Fire Department Station No. 4 as measured <br /> along the north line of said highway to the inter- <br /> section of the south boundary of the city limits of <br /> the City of Everett and said State Highway 7r1-I. <br /> (2) Twenty (20) miles per hour in traversing <br /> any intersection where the operator' s view is obstructed; <br /> Provided, except as otherwise provided in this section, <br /> this provision shall not apply to operators upon arterial <br /> highways. An operator' s view shall be deemed to be <br /> obstructed when at any time during the last one hundred <br /> (100) feet of his approach to an intersection he does not <br /> have a clear and uninterrupted view of such intersection <br /> and of all public highways entering such intersection <br /> for a distance of one hundred (100) feet along the <br /> center line of each thereof. <br /> (3) Twenty (20) miles per hour in traveling upon <br /> an arterial highway and traversing an intersection with <br /> another public highway, not an arterial highway, and the <br /> operator or another vehicle about to enter the inter- <br /> section of such arterial highway thereat, shall have <br /> brought his vehicle to a complete stop as required by <br /> law before entering such arterial highway. <br /> (4) Twenty (20) miles per hour through any business <br /> district, when such business district is so sign posted <br /> at the extremities thereof. <br /> (5) Twenty (20) miles per hour in curves or corners <br /> when the driver' s view is obstructed within a distance <br /> of one hundred (100) feet along such highway in the <br /> direction of progress. <br /> (6) Twenty (20) miles per hour when passing any <br /> schoolhouse on school days, or school or public play- <br /> ground between the hours of 8:00 o ' clock a.m. and 5:00 <br /> o 'clock p.m. , or when crossing any marked school crossing <br /> during such hours. <br /> (7) Fifteen (15) miles per hour in any alley, <br /> unless a lower speed is specified by signs posted in <br /> such alley. <br /> (8) Twenty-five (25) miles per hour within the <br /> corporate limits of the City of Everett, except as herein <br /> provided. <br /> (c) Compliance with such speeds under the circum- <br /> stances hereinabove set forth shall not relieve the <br /> operator of any vehicle from the further exercise of due <br /> care and caution as further circumstances shall require. <br /> The unlawful operation of a vehicle in excess of the <br /> maximum speeds provided in this section at the point of <br /> operation and under the circumstances described shall be <br /> prima facie evidence of the operation of a motor vehicle <br /> in a reckless manner by the operator thereof. <br />
