. , <br /> , ' . • . <br /> Section 15: FIRE Ini.b.RANT DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named employee in the Fire <br /> Hydrant Department, to-wit : <br /> One Hydrant Repairman <br /> It shall be the duty of such employee to perform the <br /> duties indicated by the name of his employment and such other duties <br /> as the Chief of the Fire Department or Commissioner of Safety may <br /> authorize and direct. <br /> Section 16 : STREET PAINTING DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named employees in the <br /> Street Painting Department, to-wit : <br /> One street painter and one or more Day Laborers <br /> (part time) . <br /> It shall be the duty of such employees to perform the <br /> duties indicated by the name of their employment and such other <br /> duties as the Commissioner of Safety and the Chief of Police shall, <br /> from time to time, authorize and direct. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> Section 17 : CITY ENGINEER DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers, deputies, <br /> assistants and employees in the office of the City Engineer, to-wit : <br /> One City Engineer; one Associate Engineer; one <br /> Assistant Engineer; eight Junior Engineers; one <br /> Senior Engineering Aide; three Engineering Aides; <br /> one Stenographer; one or more Inspectors part time) . <br /> Said officers, assistants and employees shall perform <br /> such duties indicated by the name of their respective employment and <br /> such other duties as the City Engineer shall, from time to time, <br /> authorize and direct. <br /> Section lu: INSPECTION DEPARTMFAT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and em- <br /> ployees in the Inspection Department, to-wit : <br /> One Building Inspector; one Electrical Inspector; <br /> one Plumbing Inspector; one Office Helper (part time). <br /> It shall be the duty of such officers and employees to <br /> perform the duties relating to such offices as defined by the <br /> ordinances of such city, and such other duties as the Commissioner <br /> of Public Works shall authorize and direct. <br /> Section 19 : STREET DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and assist- <br /> ants in the Street Department, to-wit: <br /> One Superintendent; one Clerk; one Auto Repairman; <br /> one Asst. Auto Repairman; three Foremen; seven Truck <br /> Drivers; one Crusherman; two Donkeymen and Equipment <br /> Operators; two Bulldozer Operators; two Gradermen; <br /> two Sweepermen; one Flusherman (night); one or more <br /> Utility Laborers; one or more Day Laborers, <br />
