• 'V : <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3481 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT IN COMPLIANCE ,ITH CHAPTER 128 OF THE LAs S OF THE STATE OF <br /> yASHINGTON, 1945. <br /> WHEREAS, a petition in writing signed by the owners of <br /> more than seventy-five percent (75/) in value according to the <br /> assessed valuation for general taxation of the property for which <br /> annexation was petitioned, which petition set forth a description <br /> of the property according to governmental legal subdivisions and <br /> legal plats, and which petition was accompanied by a plat and draw- <br /> ing which outlined the boundaries of the property sought to be <br /> annexed, has been filed with the City Commissioners of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the City of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, did fix the 13th day of August, 1954, for <br /> hearing upon said petition and caused notice of hearing to be pub- <br /> lished in one issue of the Everett Laily Herald, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the city, and caused said notice also to be <br /> posted in three (3) places vLthin the territory proposed for <br /> annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the <br /> time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear <br /> and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation, and <br /> WHEREAS following the hearing the Commissioners of <br /> Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of <br /> the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth, <br /> NO4, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the property hereinafter described be, <br /> and the same is hereby annexed on the Jo: day of Cetober , 1954, <br /> to Everett, a municipal corporation: <br /> Parcel A: All that portion of the `'2 of the SW-4- of, <br /> Section 32, T 29 N.R. 5 ETI and of the El of the Sal- <br /> of Sec. 31, T 29 N. R. 5 E.`M, described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly boundary <br /> of the Pacific North best Traction Co. railway right <br /> of way and the Northerly boundary of Main St. in Lowell, <br /> also called 54th St. , in the SA of the Si- of Section <br /> 32, T 29 N.R. 5 EVWM; thence westerly along the northerly <br /> boundary of Main St. , also called 54th St. , to a point <br /> 120.73 feet east of its intersection with the Easterly <br /> boundary of Central Ave. , also called Colby Ave. ; thence <br /> angle right along the easterly line of a tract conveyed <br /> to Eric G. S. Ward and Susan Agnes bard, husband and <br /> wife, by Deed recorded in Volume 458 of Deeds on page <br /> 67 under Auditor ' s File No. 965076; and along said <br /> Easterly line of and tract extended northerly for a <br /> total of 158.27 feet; thence angle left for 90 for <br /> 120 feet to the easterly line of Central live. ; thence <br /> north 7°17 '30" west along the easterly line of Central <br /> Ave. to a point on said easterly line which is 445 <br /> feet southerly along said line from its intersection <br /> with the southerly line of 48th St. ; thence angle to <br /> the right 90° to the westerly boundary of the Pacific <br /> North !Jest Fraction Company' s railway right of way; <br /> thence southerly along the westerly boundary of said <br /> right of way to the point of beginning, LESS tracts to <br /> Everett, a municipal corporation, for streets and alleys ; <br /> situate in the County of Snohomish, State of "ash.ington. <br />
