r 4*. • • • ORDINANCE NO. 3404 AN ORDINANCE providing for the protection of the public health and safety; examination, regulation, licensing of persons engaged in the business of plumbing or laboring at the trade of plumbing; requiring a permit for installation or alteration of plumping, gas and drainage systems; creating the office of Plumbing Official and a Board of Plumbing Examiners, and prescribing their duties; defining certain terms; establishing minimum regulations for installation, alteration or repair of plumbing, gas and drainage systems and inspection thereof; providing for penalties for violation thereof; and repealing conflicting ordinances; and providing for the adoption by reference of the Uniform Plumbing Code as issued for the year 1952 by the Western Plumbing Officials Association as the Plumbing Code and Ordinance for the City of Everett, and repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith, THEREFOhE, THE CITY OF EVER_LTT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the 1952edition of the Uniform Plumbing i Code as prepared and edited by the .estern Plumbing Officials 1 Association, subject to the modifications, additions and changes I hereinafter set forth, is hereby adopted as amended, supplemented i and modified herein as the Plumbing Code and Ordinance of the City of Everett, there being three copies of said Plumbing Code on file 1 with the City Clerk of the City of Everett and such Code by refer- ence is hereby made a part of this ordinance as though fully set !I forth herein. Section 2: That the Uniform Plumbing Code as adopted is II supplemented as follows : (a) That Part one, Sec. 1.2 ic completed by filling in the blank therein as follows: "Inspector of Sewers and Plumbing" (b) That Part One, Sec. 1.3, is completed by filling in the blank therein as follows : "three years" (c) That Part One, Sec. 1.4, is completed by filling in the blankstherein as follows: "Inspector of Sewers and Plumbing" "Public Works" (d) That Part One, Sec. 1.8, is completed by filling in the blanks therein as follows: ,00" "City" "Two" (e) That Part Two, Sec. 2.10, is completed by filling in the blanks therein as follows: "December 31" "December 31" "December 31" (f) That Part Two, Sec. 2.110 is completed by filling in the blanks therein as follows : t14,2,50" 111
