• ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of Maulsby Lane from Alverson Blvd. northwesterly to its termination by the construction of a portland cement concrete pavement, by provid- ing for the necessary drainage, by doing such grading or regrad- ing as may be necessary and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No. 5526 of the City of Everett creating a local improvement district; creatinga local improve- ment district fund therefor, and providing for the payment of said improvement by special assessment on the property in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5526 of the City of Everett , the City Council has declared its intention to order the improve- ment as above outlined, and doing all work in connection there- with to make a complete improvement in accordance with the plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Everett, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Maulsby Lane from Alverson Blvd. northwesterly to its termination shall be improved by the con- struction of a portland cement concrete pavement, by providing for the necessary drainage, by doing such grading or regarding as may be necessary and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement, all according to the plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, and which plans and specification- are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expenses of such improve ment, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement, except as provided by Chapter 141, Session Laws of 1923, or sots amendatory thereto and the ordinances of the City of Everett. Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improvement district to be known as "Local Improvement District No. 620", which district shall include the following described property located in Everett, Snohomish County, ' ashington, to-wit: Begin at a point on the northwesterly marginal line of Alverson Blvd. , as platted, 90 feet easterly of and at right angles to the easterly marginal line of Maulsby Lane, as platted in Blk. 132, Bayview Add. , and Replat of Lots 14 to 18, Block 131, Grandview Add. ; th northerly along a line 90 ft. easterly of and parallel to the said easterly line of Maulsby Lane, as platted, to the point of intersection with the center line of the block lying between Maulsby Lase and Alverson Blvd. ; th northeasterly along said center line to the most southerly corner of Lot 3, Replat of i''ots 15 to 19, incl. , Blk. 132, Bayview Add. , and Lots 24 and 25, Block 133, Bayview Add. , and Lots 1 to 7, incl. , Blk. 131, Grandview Add. ; th north- easterly along the southeasterly line of Lots 3 and 4 of said Replat to the most easterly corner of said Lot 4; th
