. � � t • <br /> Section 19 This grant is made upon the express condition that the company <br /> ACCEPTANCE <br /> OF FRAN- within forty (40) days after the adoption of this ordinance <br /> CHISE <br /> shall file with the Clerk of the City a written acceptance of <br /> the same, and when so accepted by the company shall constitute <br /> a contract between the City and the company for all the uses, <br /> services and purposes herein set forth, and the company, by its <br /> acceptance of this ordinance, binds itself to provide the <br /> necessary motor buses and to establish, operate and maintain <br /> the transportation service contemplated in this ordinance, <br /> beginning not later than sixty (60) days from the dates of the <br /> acceptance of this ordinance by the company, unless such be <br /> extended by the City Council, and continuing without substantial <br /> interruption except for causes beyond the control of the com- <br /> pany, until the expiration of the term of the grant hereof. <br /> Section 20 This franchise and contract may be terminated by the company <br /> TTERIVINATION <br /> BY COMPANY upon giving one year' s written notice to the City of its desire <br /> to terminate said contract, and upon the expiration of the <br /> period of one year from the date of service of the written <br /> notice by the company upon the City, the contract shall be <br /> forthwith terminated and the company shall no longer be liable <br /> to comply with the terms and conditions of this franchise and <br /> contract. <br /> Section 21 That Section 11 of Ordinance No. 2711 of the City of Everett be <br /> RE PEAL <br /> and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest : /7'447- <br /> yi <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: ' 1 - /767 <br /> Published: Al. —�- if3/ <br /> -8- <br />
