B. National Objectives The Subrecipient certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will meet the following CDBG National Objective, as identified by the City of Everett for priority in the 2021 Program Year, "Benefit low/moderate income persons" - as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208. Appropriate subcategory and matrix code under the CDBG National Objectives: Limited Clientele; 05L, Child Care Services 24 CFR 570.201(e) or 42 USC 5305(a)(8) + 24 CFR 570.482(c)(2) Description of how the project will meet this subcategory: Subsidy for this program will be provided for participants who qualify; qualification is determined in two ways: 1) participants must apply for financial assistance and must meet the minimum income criteria for their family size and 2); participants must apply for assistance through DSHS and meet their criteria for state funding C. Performance Monitoring The City will monitor the performance of the Subrecipient against goals and performance standards required herein through quarterly reports and site visits. Substandard performance as determined by the City will constitute non-compliance with this Agreement. If action to correct such substandard performance is not taken by the Subrecipient within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the City and after being notified by the City, contract suspension or termination procedures will be initiated.
