Is there currently a clean out on the side sewer: Yes but it is copper, which cuts and
damages cameras but not snakes.
How many at risk plumbing fixtures below the road surface are there: 3. Toilet, sink, and
outside floor drain in patio area.
How many down spouts are currently connected to the side sewer: 4
Does side sewer have slope: yes
Depth of side sewer 10ft from house: 7ft.
Sewer Report:
Material: Concrete
Sewer Length: 46 feet
Condition: Good
Explain: City has replaced side sewer in right of way with a pvc line, and the concrete
line on the property is in good condition except for one location. The one problem area
is a separation that could be patched (by an epoxy patch) without excavating the side
sewer. This will keep the side sewer from leaking in that location and making the side
sewer sink in the future.
Recommend: One pipe patch on sewer.
Any additional comments:
Problems Identified
1) Backwater valve is not operational.
Solution: Install a new inside backwater valve where the current valve is located in the
basement.
