<br />SYSTEM PERFORMANCE ALLOWS, BALANCE SYSTEMS SO THAT TOTAL SYSTEM FLOWS ARE AT
<br />A MINIMUM OF 100% OF DESIGN PARAMETERS, WITHOUT CAUSING ANY INDIVIDUAL FLOW

<br />a. DATA SHEET: INDICATE MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION, FINISH, AND MOUNTING
<br />DETAILS; AND PERFORMANCE DATA INCLUDING THROW AND DROP, STATIC -PRESSURE
<br />DROP AND NOISE RATINGS.
<br />PART 2 PRODUCTS
<br />2.1 GENERAL
<br />A. DAMPERS: PROVIDED AS AN ACCESSORY TO GRD'S WHEN SCHEDULED ON THE DRAWINGS.
<br />DAMPERS SHALL BE OPPOSED BLADE, HEAVY GAUGE STEEL AND SHALL BE ADJUSTABLE
<br />FROM THE FACE OF THE INLET OR OUTLET.
<br />B. FRAME TYPES AND MOUNTING HARDWARE: COORDINATED WITH CEILING TYPES.
<br />ARCHITECTURAL PLANS SHALL TAKE PRECEDENCE WHEN REFERENCING CEILING TYPES,
<br />AND CONTRACTOR SHALL REFERENCE THE ARCHITECTURAL PLANS FOR VERIFICATION OF

<br />WITH ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES, SYMMETRY AND LIGHTING ARRANGEMENT. LOCATE IN
<br />ACCORDANCE WITH ARCHITECTURAL REFLECTED CEILING PLAN WHEN INDICATED.
<br />2. CEILING -MOUNTED OUTLETS AND INLETS: DRAWINGS INDICATE GENERAL ARRANGEMENT
<br />OF DUCTS, FITTINGS, AND ACCESSORIES. AIR OUTLET AND INLET LOCATIONS HAVE
<br />BEEN INDICATED TO ACHIEVE DESIGN REQUIREMENTS FOR AIR VOLUME, NOISE
<br />CRITERIA, AIRFLOW PATTERN, THROW AND PRESSURE DROP. MAKE FINAL LOCATIONS
<br />WHERE INDICATED, AS MUCH AS PRACTICABLE. FOR UNITS INSTALLED IN LAY -IN
<br />CEILING PANELS, LOCATE UNITS IN THE CENTER OF PANEL. WHERE ARCHITECTURAL
<br />FEATURES OR OTHER ITEMS CONFLICT WITH INSTALLATION, NOTIFY ARCHITECT FOR A
