April 13, 2022 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> President Stonecipher noted that she will be absent at the next Council meeting. <br /> Council Member Tuohy will preside over next week's meeting. President <br /> Stonecipher stated that as the Council Rules and Procedures were passed at last <br /> week's council meeting, the election for Council Vice President will appear on the <br /> agenda for the April 27, 2022, Council meeting and will be sending out instructions <br /> for the nomination and election process. <br /> Comments and liaison reports were provided by Council Members Tuohy, Rhyne, <br /> Schwab, Fosse, Zarlingo, Vogeli, and President Stonecipher. <br /> ADMINISTRATION <br /> Lori Cummings stated that a summary of information will be sent to Council in the <br /> coming days regarding the recently signed Move Ahead Washington <br /> Transportation Package,which is an unprecedented direct funding opportunity for <br /> public transportation. Transit agencies must adopt a fair-free policy for all <br /> customers, ages 18 years and younger by October 1, 2022, to be eligible for this <br /> program. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney David Hall had no updates. He requested a 40-minute Executive <br /> Session to discuss four (4) litigation matters, pursuant RCW 42.30.110(1)(i), with <br /> potential council action to follow on one (1) of those matters. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Deb Williams stated Council received no written comments, and there was one <br /> member of the public who wished to speak. <br /> • Joe Rzeczkowski— Homelessness Concerns and Public Safety <br /> 2 <br />
