Their findings <br /> indicate that installing a backwater valve on your properry would be beneficial. Plea<e review <br /> the enclosed report. <br /> Previously, you signed the Backwater Valve Authorization Form authorizing the City to install <br /> a back�vater valve at your property. Based on the inspection report, we are proceeding with <br /> the installation. The City's contractor, Welw�st Construdion, will be contacting you in <br /> February to schedule the work.This will require some excavatlon on your property. <br /> The City will provide you on-site training on the operation and maintenance of the backwater <br /> valve. Maintenance of the valve and the plumbing, sevaer, and drainage on your property are <br /> your responsibility. The inspection identified additional site drainage and plumbing <br /> deficiencies in your private drainage and plumbing system. These include: <br /> • Additional work could be rompleted to seal exterior �valls from groundwater intrusion <br /> • Broken Floor drain which could be excavated and mplaced with a new check valve � <br /> • Repair or replacement oF side sewer to address multiple fractures and rools <br /> lhese deficiencies are your responsibiliry to address, as you dcsire.
