Residential Plumbing Sewer and Drainage Investigation <br /> Site Address: <br /> 2022 Rockefeller <br /> Everett WA 98201 <br /> 9/27/13 <br /> n €_ <br /> 8 "n <br /> • <br /> • r . <br /> Plumbing and Drainage Inspector: <br /> Steve's Plumbing LLC <br /> 19707 64th Ave W,#108 <br /> Lynnwood,WA 98036 <br /> House Specifics: <br /> • House currently has a backwater valve on side sewer?NO <br /> • House has downspouts connected to side sewer?NO <br /> • Does Side Sewer have grade?Flat for first 30' <br /> • Approximate depth of side sewer: 5'-l0' <br /> • Depth and Location of proposed Backwater Valve: 2' outside the back of house where concrete to <br /> cast transition meet 5'6"deep <br /> • Comments: Side sewer is showing its age,lots of little roots starting to enter side sewer. <br /> Plumbing, Sewer, or Drainage Problems Identified: <br /> 1)House is not protected from a sewer surcharge event <br /> Suggested Solution: Install backwater valve 2' outside the back of the house (see attached sketch) <br /> 2)Internal Plumbing: Customer stated floor drain is broken <br /> Suggested Solution: Excavate and replace with new floor drain and check valve <br /> 3) Side Sewer Improvements: Concrete pipe has fractures with roots growing in it. 5'6" deep, 2' outside <br /> of house with broken piece of pipe at cast to concrete transition. Line is fairly flat for first 30' and holding <br /> little bit of water.Length from house to broken section near main is 80' at 9'6"deep at main. <br /> Suggested Solution: Backwater Valve should be installed at back of house where concrete to cast <br /> transition meet.Relining the side sewer might extend the useful life of the private side sewer if done soon. <br />
