List of Reference Documents <br /> Exhibit A <br /> Water Filter Plant — Phase 2 Capital Upgrades Project <br /> City of Everett, Washington <br /> List of Reference Documents <br /> The Design-Builder shall review the Reference Documents to support its Phase 1 design with <br /> additional documents obtained or developed by the Design-Builder. Owner may also update the <br /> Reference Documents list from time to time with new information. <br /> All documents listed below will be provided via the Electronic Reference Library. <br /> Owner provides such Reference Documents to Design-Builder for information only, and subject <br /> to the conditions and qualifications identified in Section 3.2.1 of the General Conditions, except <br /> as expressly indicated below: <br /> • Reference Documents 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, as numbered in the table below, may solely be <br /> relied on by the Design-Builder for: <br /> o Information regarding the current state of Water Filter Plant infrastructure and <br /> processes as identified during the 2020 Water Filter Plant Facilities Plan project. <br /> o An understanding of potential Water Filter Plant process changes and infrastructure <br /> improvements within the 20-year(2020-2040) planning horizon of the 2020 Water <br /> Filter Plant Facilities Plan. <br /> • Reference 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, as numbered in the table below, may solely be relied <br /> on by the Design-Builder for: <br /> o The general arrangement and location of site and project features. <br /> o Record drawings and shop drawings may be relied on for the location and type of <br /> inaccessible infrastructure. For clarity, only infrastructure that would require <br /> excavation, removal or breaking of structures, or removal of major equipment would <br /> be considered inaccessible. Observations that require removal of a hatch, cover, <br /> panel, or small piece of equipment would not be considered inaccessible. Field <br /> locatable underground pipes and utilities would not be considered inaccessible. <br /> • Reference Documents 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, as numbered in the table below, may <br /> solely be relied on by the Design-Builder for: <br /> o Information regarding subsurface conditions at the specified geotechnical <br /> investigation locations. <br /> o Geotechnical analysis and recommendations related to specified project criteria and <br /> subsurface investigation locations. <br /> • Reference Document 18, as numbered in the table below, may solely be relied on by the <br /> Design-Builder for: <br /> o Information regarding the general arrangement and location of underground pipes, <br /> conduits, vaults, and valves across the Water Filter Plant site. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
