City of Everett,Washington I Water Filter Plant- Phase 2 Capital Upgrades PDB Project <br /> Progressive Design-Build Contract I Exhibit B.Owner's Project Criteria <br /> 3 Codes, Standards, and Guidelines <br /> Improvements shall be designed based on the current applicable codes, and current <br /> applicable industry standards and guidelines at the time of the execution of the Contract <br /> as referenced in this Exhibit, unless otherwise indicated. <br /> Where codes and design criteria are subject to interpretation, Design-Builder shall <br /> select design parameters and criteria that result in a more robust and long-lasting facility <br /> or structure. Where codes and standards conflict, the code or standard giving the most <br /> conservative design shall govern. <br /> Societies, industry groups, organizations, institutes, and agencies issuing these codes, <br /> standards, and guidelines include, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> 1. American Concrete Institute (ACI) <br /> 2. American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) <br /> 3. American National Standards Institute (ANSI) <br /> 4.
