EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Traffic Signal Modifications <br /> At 41st St/ Colby Ave and W Marine View Dr/ California St <br /> CITY OF Everett <br /> February 3, 2022 <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The City of Everett (City) is upgrading the traffic signals at 41st St/Colby Ave and W <br /> Marine View Dr/California St. As part of the project design, the DKS team <br /> (CONSULTANT) will provide professional services for survey, geotechnical, sidewalk, <br /> curb ramp, and traffic signal modification design work at these two intersections. The <br /> consultant will prepare the PS&E package for the project. <br /> The CONSULTANT's scope of work includes the following: <br /> • Traffic Signal Design at 41st St and Colby Ave, <br /> o Replace three (3) existing concrete mast arm poles at the NE, SE, and <br /> SW corner of the intersection. <br /> o Evaluate and upgrade curb ramps at up to two (2) corners of the <br /> intersection as needed. <br /> o Evaluate and upgrade existing pedestrian push buttons to accessible <br /> pedestrian signal (APS) push buttons with compatible posts where <br /> required to meet ADA requirements. <br /> o Traffic signal controller cabinet and foundation will remain. <br /> • Traffic Signal Design at W Marine View Dr and California St, <br /> o Replace two (2) existing concrete mast arm poles at the NE and SW <br /> corner of the intersection. <br /> o Evaluate and upgrade curb ramps at up to two (2) corners of the <br /> intersection as needed (that may be incidental to the work associated <br /> with the signal pole replacements). <br /> o Evaluate and upgrade existing pedestrian push buttons at the same <br /> corners (up to two) to accessible pedestrian signal (APS) push buttons <br /> with compatible posts where required to meet ADA requirements. <br /> o Traffic signal controller cabinet and foundation will remain. <br /> This scope of work describes the tasks, assumptions, and deliverables that the <br /> City of Everett 1 DKS <br />
