� <br />Fire Alurm Svstem - An approved aulomntic fire detection system shall be providcd as required by <br />City Ordinance No. 3021-07, Chapter 16.75, of the Everett Municipa! (:ode. <br />Plans £or such system shall be subn:itted to the Fire Code Officia'. for revie�v and approval prior to <br />installation. Submittal shall includ!: cut slieets of all equipment intended for use. Appropriate trip <br />lests, witnessed by a Fire Deparlrnent lnspector, <br />shall be performed, along with a ce� iificate of completion, grior to final acceptance <br />of the system. <br />�ire alarm systems shull be installed according to NPPA Chapter 72. Installation of lire alnrm <br />components, incluclii�� besic wiriRg, may not commence before plans are approved by the Fire <br />Depnrtment Plan Revi�wer. Pire alarm drawings must be professionally rendered, in sufficient <br />detail, and must be intemally consistent. Riser disgrnms must match insttsllation plans and load <br />calculations. Components must be listed and approved for use to�ether. Changes to plans must <br />include new drawings und calcutations and must be approved by the Fire Department Plan Reviewer <br />prior to installation. Fire alarm installation is subject to field inspec� �.on by a Fire Depurtment <br />Inspector. An approved set of plans and the Eng�nc.:ring & Public Services Department electrical <br />permit must be present for any installatira inspection. <br />Fire alnrm systems slinll be installed under perntit of the City of Everetl Engineering & Public <br />Services Department. �leclrical inspections and approval nre required prior to calling for acceptance <br />lests. Call (425) 2�7-8810 for permit information. <br />Thc nbsena� of worlcing phone lines for the ularm s��stem will be cause for postponing Fire <br />Depnrtment inspcction and testing and sl�ull result in denial of otcupancy. <br />Construciion and dcmolition of buildings shall be in compliance wit(� lhe provisions of the 2006 <br />International i'ire Code, Chapter 14. <br />Tr1sh Colleclion - Dumpsters over I.5 cubic yflrds caPacity shall be located a minimum of 5 feet <br />liom tl�c building [1PC 3043.3, 2006 Edition]. <br />GCNERAL INFORMATION <br />I.
