"Che design and implementation of public improvement projects undertaken in any of the designated <br />gateway corridors identified above shall include aesthetic as well as functional considerutions in <br />order to support and enhance the visunl quality and character of the city. Such aesthetic <br />considerations sha!! include, but not be limited tu, appropriate strect Irees and plantings, utility <br />�tructures such as street lighting and traffic control devices, public right-of-way signs, retaining wAlls <br />�nd pcdestrian saCcty rails, bicycle lanes, transit benehes and shellers, nnd other right-of-wsy <br />improve�nenls as appropriate. <br />3. The City shnll work witl� properly and business owners along gateway corridors to develup and <br />implemenl streetscape improvemcnl pinns both within the public right-of-way and on propertics <br />nbutting the righl-of-way. Such improvcment pfnns shull be coordinated with Snohomish County for <br />thc unincorporated portions of corridors that are located in the Everett Planning Area. <br />Fire Denartment licquirements: <br />Access - O.IC. as shown on the site plun reviewed. <br />A Knox Qux is required. <br />Premise Identification - Premises sh111 be clearly identified by the correct address at tlie street entry. <br />Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from lhe r�ecess road. [ndividual <br />aparuncnts mid suites, ��here applicable, shall be ciearly nnd legibly identified from the access road. <br />A fire hydrant is required wilhin 200 driving fect, but not closer than 50 feet, of every structure. <br />Location oCthe hydrant(s) shall be approved by thc rire Code Official. <br />13ased upon 5,632 squarc fcet of Type V-I3, non-sprinklered coustruction, the fire ftow rcquirement is <br />2,000 gpm. <br />I'ortnble hire P�otection - A portable fire er.linguisher with a minimum U.L. rating of <br />2-A:10-I3:C s�.mll be provided within 75 Feet of trnvel on all floors of each building durino <br />construclion and prior to occupnncy. <br />
