Thrir findings indicate <br />that installing a backwater valve on your property would be beneficial. Please review the <br />enclosed repoit. <br />Previously, you signed the f3ackwater Valve Authoriza[ion Form authorizing the City to install a <br />backwater valve at your property. Based on the inspection report, we are proceeding with the <br />instailation. The Citv's contrador. Combined ConstrucHon, will be contacdng vou in <br />Mav to schedule the work. This will require entry in[o the building at [he above address. <br />The City will provide you on-site training on the operation and maintenance of the backwater <br />valve. Maintenance of the valve and the plumbing, sewer, and drainaye on your property are <br />your responsibility. The inspection identified additional site drainage and plumbing deficiencies in <br />your private drainage and plumbing system. These include: <br />We noticed abandoned underground downspout pip�s that are open to the surtace, They <br />should be capped, Fllled, or removed. <br />The side sewer is old and is in poor shape. A repair appcars to be needed 8 to 9 feet out <br />From the house. <br />These defrciencies are your responsibiiity lo address, as you desire.
