The current review letter is attached again for your
convenience.
The mechanical permit was submitted with structural drawings. The structural modifications need to be included in a
building permit; note that the recently resubmitted structural and mechanical drawings received on 10/21/2021 do not
contain updates and therefore do not address the comments in the attached letter. This should be submitted as a
revision to the original building permit;this will not impact continuing work already approved except where the changes
are occurring. The mechanical review also identified architectural issues that similarly need to be addressed in the
revisions to the building permit.
We need to have the comments in the attached letter addressed by the appropriate parties, and revised documents for
both permits submitted for review. Submit documents separately, not together. Submit only mechanical drawings for
the mechanical permit, and only building drawings for the building permit; extra "for reference" copies are not required
for each respective permit. A response letter should be provided for each permit resubmittal. Where a comment is
being addressed on the other permit, it is sufficient to state this as the response for that comment, as long as:
a. Both letters provide a response for each comment; and—
b. A clear action response is indicated on at least one letter for each comment.
c. Mechanical issues are addressed in the mechanical drawings, and building issues are addressed in the
building drawings.
Please coordinate the drawings for each permit before resubmitting either to verify: 1)that all comments have been
addressed; and 2)that there are no conflicts or omissions between the two permit drawings. I will review the revised
drawings for both permits simultaneously.
Please let me know if you have questions.
Drew Martin, P.E.,S.E.
isAssociate Engineer—Commercial Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8810 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT Phone Hours: M/W/T: 8 am - 12 pm & 1 pm—3 pm;Tu: 1:O0pm-3:00pm
everettwa.gov/permits I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
1
