EVERETT <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7775 WASHINGTON <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing next steps for ARPA-funded projects and initiatives. <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. The City of Everett is the recipient of$20,695,570 from the Coronavirus Local Fiscal <br /> Recovery Fund, as authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).These funds <br /> represent a one-time opportunity to invest federal dollars toward the City's most pressing <br /> community challenges and recovery efforts. These funds must be spent within the <br /> guidelines established by the U.S.Treasury. <br /> B. In accordance with City Council direction, City staff has brought forward to City Council the <br /> following projects and initiatives that are ready for implementation: <br /> Estimated <br /> Priority Area Project/Initiatives Description <br /> Cost: <br /> Shelter& Expand Pallet Shelters: Expand/Add pallet shelter $2,700,000 <br /> homelessness communities to address increased unsheltered populations. <br /> support facilities Includes capital expenses, site development and <br /> approximately three years initial operations expenses for <br /> three sites. <br /> Behavioral health Service Coordination for those unsheltered (Chart 2.0)/ $870,000 <br /> services&staff Immediate outreach and navigation: A 30-month pilot <br /> program to increase service coordination and provide case <br /> management to the increased unsheltered population in <br />
