VI. Business Services Provided by WorkSource <br /> A. The WorkSource Snohomish County System, through the work of the Business <br /> Solutions Team, utilizes a multi-pronged approach to reach out to business. The <br /> Business Solutions Team widely disseminates products that prominently display the <br /> WorkSource brand. These products are also offered at events such as hiring events, <br /> job fairs, and employer of the day and resource fairs that are either developed or <br /> supported by the WorkSource Snohomish County System. The Business Solutions <br /> Team was created in 2017 and includes WIOA required and other Partner staff. The <br /> Snohomish County Executive has identified Industry Sectors which are targeted for <br /> attraction, expansion, and retention in Snohomish County that are therefore priority <br /> areas for the Business Solutions Team. <br /> B. The Business Solutions Team is collectively responsible for these essential business <br /> services activities: <br /> 1. Engage: Bring new businesses into the system, cultivate relationships with <br /> currently engaged businesses, provide staffing solutions to businesses that are <br /> hiring, provide program services information such as on-the-job-training (OJT), <br /> work-based learning, and work experience, and market the value of the <br /> WorkSource Snohomish County System and services to businesses. <br /> 2. Connect: Connect businesses to hiring events, WorkSource customers, program <br /> eligible customers, and services, to high schools, to colleges, and to each other. <br /> 3. Communicate: Listen and understand Snohomish County business needs, bridge <br /> the gap between the WorkSource Snohomish County System and business, market <br /> high paying job opportunities to bring new customers to the WorkSource <br /> Snohomish County System, market System training programs and events to <br /> cultivate business relationships, and share information with Partner staff to help <br /> them refer job seekers to job postings. <br /> 4. Convene: Promote and support WorkSource Snohomish County System initiatives <br /> to increase direct sector and industry-guided workforce development strategies. <br /> Under the direction of Workforce Snohomish, actively engage with business focus <br /> groups, industry panels, and sector planning bodies. <br /> 5. Rapid Response: Under the direction of Workforce Snohomish, lead Rapid <br /> Response events for businesses that are downsizing or closing. <br /> VII. Technology/Data Collection/Data Sharing <br /> All Partners that have authorized access to the Management Information System <br /> (WorkSourceWA.com and the associated client management system), are required to <br /> 2022—2025 Snohomish County WIOA MOU Page 114 <br />
