IV. Job Seeker Services to Be Provided by WorkSource <br /> The purpose of the WorkSource Snohomish County System is to develop and maintain <br /> quality support for job seekers and businesses through the delivery of high-quality and <br /> integrated services, education, and economic development services for youth, adult job <br /> seekers, and incumbent workers enabling them to develop their careers and for the <br /> community to build its economic health and vitality. All Partners represented in <br /> WorkSource facilities deliver services to job seekers. <br /> A. Basic Career Services <br /> WIOA authorizes Career Services for adult job seekers, dislocated workers, and <br /> incumbent workers. The delivery of Basic Career Services is the responsibility of ALL <br /> Partners. <br /> 1. Eligibility determination for adult, dislocated worker, or youth program services; <br /> 2. Outreach, intake, and orientation to One-Stop services; <br /> 3. Initial assessment of skills and supportive service needs; <br /> 4. Labor exchange, including job search, placement, and career counseling as <br /> needed; <br /> 5. Referrals to and coordination with programs and services inside and outside <br /> WorkSource; <br /> 6. Local, regional, and national labor market data; <br /> 7. Performance and program cost for eligible training providers by program/provider <br /> type; <br /> 8. WorkSource Snohomish County System performance accountability; <br /> 9. Availability of and referral to supportive services/assistance including: child care; <br /> child support; Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program; SNAP; earned <br /> income tax credit; housing counseling and HUD services; TANF includes supportive <br /> and transportation services provided through that program; <br /> 10. Eligibility for non-WIOA financial aid for training and education; and <br /> 11. Information/assistance regarding filing claims under Unemployment Insurance (UI) <br /> programs to include connecting UI applicants/recipients to UI Tele-Center. <br /> 2022—2025 Snohomish County WIOA MOU Page 1 7 <br />
