B. Individualized Career Services <br /> Individualized Career Services may be delivered by many Partners but a given Partner <br /> may offer a unique array of Individualized Career Services. <br /> 1. Comprehensive and specialized assessments of the skill and service needs of <br /> adults, dislocated workers, and incumbent workers; <br /> 2. Development of individual employment plans; <br /> 3. Group and/or individual counseling and mentoring; <br /> 4. Career planning; <br /> 5. Short-term pre-vocational services (learning skills, communication skills, <br /> interviewing skills, and. may include pre-apprenticeship); <br /> 6. Internships/work experiences linked to careers; <br /> 7. Workforce preparation activities that help an individual acquire a combination of <br /> basic academic skills, critical thinking skills, digital literacy skills, and self- <br /> management skills, including competencies in utilizing resources, using <br /> information, working with others, understanding systems, and obtaining skills <br /> necessary for successful transition into and completion of postsecondary <br /> education, training, or employment; <br /> 8. Financial literacy services; <br /> 9. Out-of-area job search assistance and relocation assistance; and <br /> 10. English language acquisition and integrated education and training programs. <br /> C. Training Services <br /> Training services may be provided when WorkSource staff, including partner <br /> programs' staff, determines after conducting an interview, an evaluation, or <br /> assessment, and career planning, that the individual is unlikely or unable to obtain or <br /> retain employment that leads to economic self-sufficiency or wages comparable to or <br /> higher than wages from previous employment through career services alone. <br /> 1. Occupational skills training through Individual Training Accounts; <br /> 2. Adult education and literacy activities, including English language acquisition (ELA) <br /> provided in combination with the training services described above; <br /> 2022—2025 Snohomish County WIOA MOU Page 18 <br />
