The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing grant funding in the amount of $710,171.25, the Washington State Military Department is providing funding in the amount of $118,361.87, and the City of Everett is providing matching funds of $118,361.88 for total programmed available funding of $946,895. Project summary statement: This project will purchase and install a generator to operate 2 of the 5 pumps at Evergreen Pump Station. The project includes electrical design and construction, building a concrete pad, and purchasing and installing a structure to house the generator. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Hazard Mitigation Grant Agreement in substantially the form submitted.
