• •
Drew Martin
From: Drew Martin
Sent: Thursday, February 4, 2021 10:18 AM
To: restechusa@gmail.com
Subject: City of Everett Permit Services: 318 SE Everett Mall Way (B2101-053) - First Building
Review
Hello Mr. Montoya,
Your application has been received and a permit set up. However, the submitted documents are not sufficient
for us to perform a comprehensive review at this time. Construction-level documents need to be submitted
for review. Preliminary comments are provided below to assist in preparing the drawings, but these are not
intended to provide a comprehensive review.
1. The submittal requires require two sets of both calculations and construction-level drawings to be
submitted. Only one set of calculations was provided.
2. The construction drawings should include the following:
a. Key plan to indicate the area of work within the building.
b. Architectural drawings showing the changes to the space layout.
3. Continuing with Item 2b,the architectural drawings should indicate if the proposed work impacts the
broader performance of the space or building (e.g., fire safety, egress, etc.).
4. The architectural drawings should specify the intended Occupancy Classification of the space, including
if an occupancy change is occurring.
Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been
submitted. Please let me know if you have questions.
Drew Martin, P.E.,S.E.
imiAssociate Engineer—Commercial Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8813 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT Hours: M/W/Th/F: 7:30am-12:OOpm & 1:OOpm-3:OOpm;Tu: 1:OOpm-3:OOpm
everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
COVID-19 Update: Please reference our website& online resources for updates to our service during the
COVID-19 pandemic.
