<br />Page 8 of 22 <br />SECTION 2 - SPECIFICATIONS <br />2.1 INTENT <br />The City of Everett seeks a supplier to provide an annual supply of gravel for projects throughout the City. <br />Requested gravel will be primarily delivered to the Everett Storage Yard and Water Pollution Control <br />Facility (WPCF). The City will also require other deliveries to locations within city limits as required. <br />2.2 SPECIFICATIONS <br />A. General Requirements <br />All materials provided under this solicitation must meet the most current Washington State <br />Department of Transportation (WSDOT) standard specifications. The most current 2022 WSDOT <br />standard specifications can be found at: <br />2022 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction (wa.gov) <br />B. Gravel Materials <br />Gravel materials must meet WSDOT Section 9-03.9: Aggregates for Ballast and Crushed Surfacing <br />when applicable. <br />1. ¾ minus crushed top course <br />2. 1-1/4 minus crushed base course <br />3. 2” Clean shoulder ballast <br />4. 2” x 4” quarry rock <br />5. 4” x 8” quarry rock <br />6. 8” x 18” half-man stone <br />7. 2-man rock <br />8. 4-man rock <br />9. Pea Gravel <br />10. Wash Rock <br />2.3 PRICING AND DELIVERY <br />A. Delivery will occur at the following locations: <br />1. City of Everett Storage Yard: 4015 Railway Ave. Everett, WA 98201 <br />2. City of Everett Water Pollution Control Facility: 4027 4th St SE, Everett, WA 98201 <br />3. City of Everett Water Filtration Plant: 6133 Lake Chaplin Road, Monroe, WA 98272 <br />4. On an as needed basis, the city will require gravel materials to be delivered to locations within <br />City limits. The city Project Manager will coordinate with the awarded supplier when deliveries <br />will be delivered to other worksites. The City anticipates less than 5% of total orders will be <br />delivered to other sites not listed above.
