I <br /> 1 AC-powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) and center median with pass- <br /> 2 through at Colby Avenue, two curb ramps, and associated appurtenances '" and other work, I <br /> 3 all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the <br /> 4 Standard Specifications. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 1-01.3.RTF <br /> 7 1-01.3 Definitions <br /> 8 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) <br /> 9 0 <br /> 10 Delete the heading Completion Dates and the three paragraphs that follow it, and replace <br /> 11 them with the following: <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Dates <br /> 14 Bid Opening Date <br /> 15 The date on which the Contracting Agency publicly opens and reads the Bids. 1 <br /> 16 Award Date <br /> 17 The date of the formal decision of the Contracting Agency to accept the lowest <br /> 18 responsible and responsive Bidder for the Work. <br /> 19 Contract Execution Date <br /> 20 The date the Contracting Agency officially binds the Agency to the Contract. <br /> 21 Notice to Proceed Date I <br /> 22 The date stated in the Notice to Proceed on which the Contract time begins. <br /> 23 Substantial Completion Date I <br /> 24 The day the Engineer determines the Contracting Agency has full and unrestricted <br /> 25 use and benefit of the facilities, both from the operational and safety standpoint, any <br /> 26 remaining traffic disruptions will be rare and brief, and only minor incidental work, <br /> 27 replacement of temporary substitute facilities, plant establishment periods, or <br /> 28 correction or repair remains for the Physical Completion of the total Contract. <br /> 29 Physical Completion Date <br /> 30 The day all of the Work is physically completed on the project. All documentation <br /> 31 required by the Contract and required by law does not necessarily need to be <br /> 32 furnished by the Contractor by this date. <br /> 33 Completion Date <br /> 34 The day all the Work specified in the Contract is completed and all the obligations of <br /> 35 the Contractor under the contract are fulfilled by the Contractor. All documentation <br /> 36 required by the Contract and required by law must be furnished by the Contractor <br /> 37 before establishment of this date. <br /> 38 Final Acceptance Date <br /> 39 The date on which the Contracting Agency accepts the Work as complete. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Supplement this Section with the following: <br /> 42 <br /> 43 All references in the Standard Specifications, Amendments, or WSDOT General Special <br /> 44 Provisions, to the terms "Department of Transportation", "Washington State <br /> 45 Transportation Commission", "Commission", "Secretary of Transportation", "Secretary", <br /> 46 "Headquarters", and "State Treasurer" shall be revised to read "Contracting Agency". <br /> 47 <br /> I <br /> INTERURBAN TRAIL TO YMCA PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> WORK ORDER 3749 Page SP2 of SP68 MAY 2,2022 <br /> I <br />
