Written releases must be filed with the Engineer before the <br /> 3 Completion Date will be established. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 1-08.0.RTF I <br /> 6 1-08 PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Add the following new section: <br /> 9 <br /> 10 1-08.0 Preliminary Matters <br /> 11 (May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) <br /> 12 <br /> 13 1-08.0(1).RTF <br /> 14 Add the following new section: <br /> 15 <br /> 16 1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference <br /> 17 (October 10, 2008 APWA GSP) <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be held <br /> 20 between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as may be <br /> 21 invited. The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: <br /> 22 1. To review the initial progress schedule; <br /> 23 2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated or <br /> 24 affected by the work; <br /> 25 3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, approvals, <br /> 26 submittals, etc.; <br /> 27 4. To establish normal working hours for the work; <br /> 28 5. To review safety standards and traffic control; and <br /> 29 6. To discuss such other related items as may be pertinent to the work. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 The Contractor shall prepare and submit at the preconstruction conference the following: <br /> 32 1. A breakdown of all lump sum items; <br /> 33 2. A preliminary schedule of working drawing submittals; and <br /> 34 3. A list of material sources for approval if applicable. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 f1-08.0(2).docx <br /> 37 Add the following new section: <br /> 38 <br /> 39 1-08.0(2) Hours of Work <br /> 40 (December 8, 2014 APWA GSP) <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Except in the case of emergency or unless otherwise approved by the Engineer, the <br /> 43 normal working hours for the Contract shall be any consecutive 8-hour period between <br /> 44 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, exclusive of a lunch break.
