O-Z Gedney—Conduit Sealing Bushings <br /> I 8 <br /> 9 The mechanical plug shall withstand a minimum of 5 psi of pressure. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Rigid Metal Conduit Fittings and Appurtenances <br /> 12 13 Section 9-29.1(2) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 14 Conduit Coatings <br /> I 15 Electroplated couplings are not allowed. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Surface Mounting Conduit Attachment Components <br /> I 18 Channel supports and all fastening hardware components shall be Type 304 <br /> 19 stainless steel. Conduit clamps shall be one piece, two bolt units with lock <br /> 20 washers. <br /> I 21 <br /> 22 Non-Metallic Conduit <br /> 23 Section 9-29.1(4) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 24 <br /> I 25 PVC conduit shall be either Schedule 40 or Schedule 80, as indicated on the plans. <br /> 26 Schedule 80 shall be required for all street crossings and for the bottom 10' of pole <br /> 27 risers. Conduit runs, <br /> 29 without innerduct, installed using directional boring method shall be Schedule 80 high <br /> 30 density polyethylene (HDPE) if the runs enter/cross the traveled way or shoulder, <br /> I31 and Schedule 40 HPDE for runs that do not enter or cross the traveled way or <br /> 32 shoulder. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 CNH 8-20.2(9-29.2) Junction Box.RTF <br /> I35 <br /> 36 9-29.2 Junction Boxes, Cable Vaults, and Pull Boxes <br /> 37 <br /> 38 39 Section 9-29.2 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 40 All junction boxes shall conform to the details shown on the WSDOT Standard <br /> I 41 Drawings J-40 series, City of Everett Standard Drawing 808, and shall be of the type <br /> 42 indicated in the plans. All junction box lids and frames shall be galvanized and those <br /> 43 installed within sidewalk areas shall be slip-resistant. All junction boxes shall have <br /> I 44 base sections as shown in City of Everett Standard Drawing 808. All junction boxes <br /> 45 to be located in the street or shoulder area shall be heavy duty junction boxes as <br /> 46 detailed in Standard Plan 1-40.20 and described in Section 9-29.2(1)B. <br /> I 47 <br /> 48 Vaults shall be as indicated on the drawings shall be 233-LA, 444-LA and 504-LA, or <br /> 49 approved equivalent.
