This supplement adds the <br />remaining design as well as construction phase engineering costs, not to exceed cost of <br />$1,706,134 for a new maximum amount payable of $3,509,212. <br />Project summary statement: <br />The plans and specifications are near completion for the Edgewater Creek Bridge <br />Replacement project. We will be moving to the bid and construction phase soon and this <br />supplement to the Standard Consultant Agreement will allow us to do so. <br />This project will remove and replace the existing Edgewater Creek Bridge, which was <br />built in 1946 and is a vital link in a chain of three bridges that provide the only access to <br />neighborhoods along Mukilteo Boulevard. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Supplemental Agreement #1 to the Standard Consultant <br />Agreement with TranTech Engineering, LLC for construction support services for the <br />Edgewater Creek Bridge Replacement for an additional $1,706,134. <br />
