CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> Bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be measured as <br /> described in Division B — Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and <br /> Section 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> 2-09.5 Payment <br /> Delete all paragraphs in 2-09.5 and substitute the following: <br /> Payment for bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be <br /> as described in Division B — Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and <br /> Section 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> When there is no bid item for "Structure Excavation" in the Proposal, all Work in this <br /> section shall be included with the respective Bid Items of the Contract with no direct <br /> compensation made. <br /> 2-11 TRIMMING AND CLEANUP <br /> 2-11.3 Construction Requirements <br /> Supplement 2-11.3 by adding the following after item 6: <br /> 7. Keep City streets clean and free from mud, dirt and other debris. <br /> Further supplement 2-11.3 by adding the following: <br /> Keep the Project site in a neat and orderly condition during the process of construction <br /> with as little disruption to the adjoining properties as practical under the conditions. <br /> Promptly and as often as needed cleanup debris resulting from Contractor's operations <br /> from drainage facilities such as inlets, catch basins, culverts and open ditches. <br /> Remove and dispose of all construction stakes. <br /> Upon Project completion, clean Project area and neatly dress slopes to present a <br /> uniform appearance blending into the contour of adjacent properties.
