Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> 1. Below grade walls can be insulated with minimum R-21 on the interior, R-15 continuous insulation <br /> on the interior, R-5 continuous rigid insulation on the interior with minimum R-13 insulation in a <br /> furred wall cavity or R-10 rigid insulation on the exterior from the top of the footing to the top of the <br /> concrete wall. <br /> The plans call out R-15 on the plan view (although not designated as continuous),and the section <br /> drawing shows R-10 Rigid insulation.The Wall Section 12 on sheet A3.3 shows Please correct the <br /> plans to clearly define which option you are proposing to use. <br /> 2. Several windows that meet the criteria specified in section R308.4.3 Glazing In Windows are not <br /> shown as tempered safety glass in the window schedule. Please verify the area of glazing and <br /> designate required safety glass as applicable. <br /> 3. Several doors with glazing that are defined as hazardous locations are not designated as safety glass. <br /> Please correct. <br /> 4. Provide the requirements for handrails on the drawings in place of calling out the code section. <br /> 5. Provide Minimum 36 inch landing not more than 1-1/2 inches below the finished floor at exterior <br /> door from attached garage to the outside on the east side. <br /> 6. Please provide architectural and structural details for the proposed guard system at all locations <br /> guards are required per section R312. Include existing and proposed decks, balconies,stairs and <br /> landings. Provide details for attachment of the guard system to the structure(s). <br /> 7. On Detail 5/S5.2, a callout indicates that"Refer to Structural Notes For Anchorage To Wall <br /> Continuous".
