City of Everett 01 25 00 -2 <br /> Police Firing Range Bullet Trap Replacement I <br /> 1. LABELS: Locate required product labels and stamps on a concealed surface or, <br /> where required for observation after installation, on an accessible surface that is <br /> not conspicuous. <br /> 1.4 SUBMITTALS ' <br /> A. PRODUCT LISTING SUBMITTAL: Submit three (3) copies of the product-listing <br /> schedule within thirty (30) days after the date of commencement of the work. Provide a <br /> written explanation for omissions of data, and for known variations from contract <br /> requirements. At Contractor's option, initial submittal of the product-listing schedule may <br /> be limited to product selections and product designations that must be established early <br /> in the contract time. Submit completed product-listing schedule within sixty (60) days <br /> after commencement of the work. <br /> 1.5 PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br /> A. Deliver, store, and handle products in accordance with the manufacturer's <br /> recommendations, using means and method that will prevent damage, deterioration, and <br /> loss, including theft. <br /> B. Schedule delivery to minimize long-term storage at the site and to prevent overcrowding ' <br /> of construction spaces. <br /> C. Coordinate delivery with installation time to ensure minimum holding time for items that <br /> are flammable, hazardous, easily damaged, or sensitive to deterioration, theft, and other <br /> losses. <br /> D. Deliver products to the site in the manufacturer's original sealed container or other 1 <br /> packaging system, complete with labels and instruction for handling, storing, unpacking, <br /> protecting, and installing. <br /> E. Inspect products upon delivery to ensure compliance with the contract documents, and <br /> to ensure that products are undamaged and properly protected. <br /> F. Store products at the site in a manner that will facilitate inspection and measurement of <br /> quantity or counting of units. <br /> G. Store heavy materials away from the project structure in a manner that will not endanger I <br /> the supporting construction. <br /> H. Store products subject to damage by the elements above ground, under cover in a <br /> weather-tight enclosure, with ventilation adequate to prevent condensation. Maintain <br /> temperature and humidity within range required by manufacturer's instructions. <br /> I. OFF-SITE STORAGE: If requested by the Contractor and approved in writing by the I <br /> Owner, the Owner may make payment to the Contractor for products stored off-site. <br /> J. OWNER-FURNISHED MATERIALS: When materials or equipment furnished by the t <br /> Owner for installation by the Contractor are to be delivered and stored prior to installation, <br /> 01 25 00 - 2 SUBSTITUTION PROCEDURES <br />
