City of Everett 00 21 13 - 6 <br /> By conducting a pre-award conference, the Cityhas not therebywaived its right to <br /> 9 <br /> make determinations regarding responsiveness and responsibility of the Bidder. <br /> C. Acceptance of Bid <br /> 1. Within 45 days after the opening of Bids, the City will act either to accept the Bid <br /> from the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder, or to reject all Bids. The City <br /> reserves the right to request extensions of such Bid acceptance period. The <br /> acceptance of a Bid will be evidenced by a written Notice of Award of Contract <br /> delivered in person or by mail to the Bidder whose Bid is accepted, together with <br /> a request to furnish a performance and payment bond and evidence of insurance <br /> and to execute the Contract set forth in the Contract Documents. <br /> 2. Bidder has 14 calendar days after receiving the Notice of Award to submit the <br /> following documents to the City: <br /> a. Two (2) executed copies of the Contract. <br /> b. Performance and payment bond on forms provided by the City per SECTION <br /> 007200 of the Contract Documents. <br /> c. Certificate of Insurance and additional insured endorsement, SECTION <br /> 007200 of the Contract Documents. <br /> 3. A Contract shall not be formed until the Contract Documents are signed by the <br /> Mayor. <br /> 1.13 TIME OF COMPLETION 1 <br /> A. The Contractor shall complete the Work on or before the date or dates specified in <br /> Section 005213 - CONTRACT. <br /> 1.14 WAGES <br /> A. All laborers, workmen, or mechanics in each trade or occupation employed in the ' <br /> performance of the Contract either by Contractor, Subcontractor, or other person doing <br /> Work shall be paid not less than the prevailing rate of wage as defined in RCW <br /> 39.12.010. Current prevailing wage rates may be found on line at <br /> http://www.lni.wa.gov/TradesLicensing/PrevWage/WageRates/.
