Mr. Stanley has an interest
in the lots described on attachment hereto. I have enclosed
a map showing the location. The lots abut the City of Everett
Water Transmission line along the north boundary. I understand
that the adjoining lot owner, Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Salmon, will
also attend the same Council date, and that they will be making
a similar request as Mr. Stanley will be making. The Salmon
lot abuts the Water Transmission line as well.
Mr. Stanley has two lots; the one nearest the Woods Creek was
serviced by the City of Everett in the early 1970s. In the
late 1970s the mobile home was removed and water service was
disconnected.
Mr. Stanley made a request of the City Water Department in 1983
for water service. That service request was approved. I enclose
a copy of that letter from the City.
Recently the City adopted a new ordinance that denies water hook-
ups to less than 10 lots.
The lots owned by Stanley and the Salmon lot lie within 1000
feet of the perimeter of the County' s old land fill lying just
east of these parcels. Any well located on these parcels may
encounter contamination from the old public dump site.
OFFICE LOCATION: 404-91 STAVENUE N.E.
ICJ
