i
2.3.2 Stream A
Stream A is a tributary to Swamp Creek, within the upper Swamp Creek sub-basin (WRIA 8).
Within the subject site, Stream A is an open channel flowing north to south in the western
portion of the property. The stream channel enters the site via a roadway culvert at the northern
property boundary, and exits the site via another culvert at the southern property boundary.
Between the southern property boundary and its conveyance point with Swamp Creek, Stream A
almost exclusively remains within an underground stormwater system.
‘ '0, '4 -It-:.:44t,tili-',i. . Non-wetland
vegetation is represented by Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii; FACU), western hemlock (Tsuga
heterophylla; FACU), red alder (Alnus rubra; FAC), poplar species (Populus spp.), Himalayan
blackberry (Rubus armeniacus; FAC), sword fern (Poystichum munitum; FACU), stinging nettle (Urtica
dioica; FAC), reed canarygrass (Phalaris arundinacea; FACW), and common pasture grasses.
The soils within the non-wetland area adjacent to the wetland were dry at the time of inspection.
Sampled soils were very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) to a depth of 6 to 8 inches below the
surface, and ranged from dark olive brown (2.5Y 3/3) to dark yellowish brown (10YR 3/4) to a
Sonrise Christian Center 6 Critical Areas Study,Buffer Averaging,
March 2, 2018 &Buffer Enhancement Plan
