AN OhDIN :NCE amending Ordinance No. 2720 of the City of Everett, entitled as follows : AN O=_DINANCE relating to the operation of taxicabs and • regulating the operation thereof upon streets of Everett ; providing for certain conditions precedent to the operation thereof; providing for certain fixed rates to be charged for operation thereof ; prescribing the manner of designat- ing certain stands upon the streets of Everett; defining offences and fixing penalties for the violation thereof, and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict therewith,1t by adding thereto Sections 5A, 5B and 5C , and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVEKETT DOES ORDAIN: • Section 1: -hat Ordinance Po. 2720 of the City of Everett, entitled as above set forth, be , and tAe same is hereby amended by addin : thereto a section to be known as Section 5A., which section shall read as follows: Section 5A: The Commissioner of Safety is granted full power to establish taxi loading zones upon the various streets of Everett, including iiewitt Avenue , and to cause said, taxi loading zones to be marked off upon the streets. A. taxi loading zone so established and marked off upon the streets as above provided shall be used by all taxicabs for loading and unloading. driver of a taxicab parked in a taxicab zone shall at all time within three feet naividual taxicab.
