• Section 3: ihat Ordinance No. 2720 of the City of Everett , entitled as above set forth, be , and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a section to be known as Section 5C, which section shall reed as follows: Section 5C: It shall be unlawful for any taxi cab driver, operator or owner to place or leave , or allow to be placed, any taxi cab in any parking space on the public streets in the central busi- ness district of Everett, as hereinafter described, between the hours of 8:00 o'clock A. Y. and 12 :00 o'clock midnight, except in a taxicab zone, taxicab stand, or taxicab loading zone , as provided in this ordinance, said Central business District being described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the East line of Broadway and the South line of Pacific Avenue , thence North on the East line of Broadway to the North line of Everett Avenue, thence West on the North line of Everett Avenue to the East line of Colby Avenue, thence North on the East line of Colby Avenue to the north line of 25th Street, thence West on the North line of 25th Street , to the West line of Colby Avenue , thence South. on the West line of Colby Avenue , to the North line of Everett Avenue, thence Vest on the North line of Everett Avenue to the West line of .tucker Avenue, thence South on the West line of bucker Avenue to the North line of California :street , thence ;'West on the North line of California Street to the West line of Grand yvenue, thence South on the West line of Grand Avenue to the North line of Hewitt Avenue , thence West on the North line of newitt Avenue to the r`lest line of Federal Street , thence Southwesterly along the West line of Bond Street to the South line of Wall Street extended Westerly, thence East on the South line of Wall Street to the East line of Bond Street, thence Northeasterly along the East line of Bond Street to the intersection of Federal Street and the South line of Hewitt Avenue; thence East along the South line of n ewitt Avenue to theWest line of Grand Avenue, thence South on the West line of Grand Avenue to the South line of Pacific Avenue , thence East along the South line of Pacific Avenue to the East line of Broadway, the true point of beginning. This restriction shall not apply to a taxicab being operated for a paying passenger, or to a taxicab being loaded or unloaded, provided that the driver shall refrain from soliciting trade end shall at all timds remain with his taxicab in such parking space so aefined and located, except when assisting in loading or unloading his taxicab.
