ORDINANCE NO. <br />EVERETT <br />WASH I NGTON <br />An Ordinance creating a special construction project entitled "Forest Park Spray Pad Recirculation", <br />Fund 354, Program 079, to accumulate costs for the project in the amount of $60,000. <br />WHEREAS, <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain City facilities. <br />B. The 2019 facilities condition assessment identified deficiencies with the Forest Park Spray Pad <br />Water Supply System and concluded the daily water consumption goes directly into the park's <br />drainage system. <br />C. The need to improve water conservation by reducing water consumption at the spray park. <br />D. Upgrade into a treatment and recirculating pump system to improve water conservation. <br />E. The City Council recognizes the need to upgrade the Forest Park Spray Pad Water Supply System <br />located at 802 East Mukilteo Blvd, Everett WA 98203. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1. A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 354, Program 079, Forest Park Spray <br />Pad Recirculation and shall be entitled "Forest Park Spray Pad Recirculation" to accumulate all costs for <br />the project. <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks & Facilities Director under the administration of <br />the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all necessary steps to <br />accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. The cost of the design and engineering of this project is $60,000 not including costs related to <br />construction. <br />Section4: The sum of $60,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354 Program 079, Forest Park Spray Pad <br />Recirculating Fund. <br />A.
