Parks and Facilities is partnering with <br />Public Works to make enhancements to the existing asphalt trail, root prune, and level picnic <br />areas. Parks will add root barrier material alongside the trail to prevent future root invasion. <br />The anticipated start of this work is September 2022. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled "Lowell Riverfront Park <br />Renovation", Fund 354, Program 080, to accumulate project costs in the amount of $250,000. <br />
