City of Everett 00 73 00 - 1 Water Filter Plant Emergency Generator Replacement WO# 3587 SECTION 00 73 00 -SPECIAL CONDITIONS PART 1 -GENERAL 1.1 SUMMARY ' A. The following "Special Conditions" shall supplement the General Conditions and shall become a part of this contract: PART 2 - STORAGE, STAGING AND DUMPSTER AREAS ' 2.1 Location:Contractor will be responsible for storage of materials and equipment prior to commencing installation phase. Staging of material and equipment during construction ' phase will be located in designated areas within the perimeter of the facility and not interfere with water filter plant operations. Available space within the immediate area where work is to be performed will be available for the contractor to stage material. 2.2 The contractor shall be responsible for the provisions for a dumpster(s). Location of a dumpster shall be located within the staging area described above. Should a dumpster ' not be possible due to site access limitations the contractor shall be responsible for an alternate means of waste disposal. PART 3 -SITE ACCESS & SECURITY 3.1 Access: A. Entry & Exit: The Contractor will be given access into facility by City's representative or ' be issued a key as necessary. B. The Contractor shall maintain conditions of access roads to Project Site(s) such that access is not hindered as the result of construction related deterioration. ' C. The Contractor shall maintain access for chemical delivery trucks and plant personnel at all times, unless discussed and otherwise approved by Owner. ' D. The Contractor shall maintain access routes for emergency vehicles at all times. PART 4 -WORKING HOURS ' 4.1 Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly defines each phase of work including planned facility closure(s), length of time area(s) is/are to be closed, and projected reopening of affected area(s). 00 73 00 - 1 SPECIAL CONDITIONS 1
