City of Everett 01 11 00 - 1 <br /> Water Filter Plant Emergency Generator Replacement WO# 3587 <br /> SECTION 01 11 00 - SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> 1.1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A. The Work specified for this contract consists of removal of two existing generators <br /> and associated appurtenances, partial demolition and reconstruction of buildings <br /> housing the generators, installation of two new generators, a fuel tank, fuel <br /> delivery systems, electrical infrastructure, and generator synching and control <br /> infrastructure, and generator system testing, commissioning, and utility synching <br /> coordination. The generators, fuel tank, and electrical synching and control <br /> equipment will be provided by the City of Everett. The work generally includes, <br /> but shall not be limited to the following: <br /> 1. Supply and install underground feeders and conduits. <br /> 2. Supply and install system control interconnections using existing conduits <br /> and raceways. <br /> 3. Reroute underground cables and conduits to accommodate Location 1 <br /> building expansion. <br /> 4. Location 1 site, utility, building, and fuel system modifications including <br /> abatement of asbestos containing materials. <br /> 5. Location 2 site, utility, building, and fuel system modifications. <br /> 6. Design, supply, and install engine exhaust and muffler support systems. <br /> 7. Design, supply, and install engine exhaust and muffler insulation systems. <br /> 8. Design, supply, and install pin pile generator support system at Location 2. <br /> ' 9. Removal, demolition, and disposal of the existing generators, selected <br /> mechanical equipment, selected electrical equipment, and selected control <br /> equipment at Location 1, Location 2, and Operations Building. <br /> 10. Installation of new generators, selected mechanical equipment, selected <br /> electrical equipment, and selected control equipment at Location 1, <br /> Location 2, and Operations Building. <br /> ' 11. Setup, testing, and commissioning of new emergency generator system. <br /> 12.
