This <br />project will reduce total suspended solids (TSS) and peak flows to the Snohomish River through stormwater separation, <br />stormwater treatment, and flow control. Additional benefits may include aquatic habitat improvement. <br />Amended: <br /> This project will improve water quality in the Snohomish River through design of stormwater best management practices <br />(BMPs) in Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) basins SRO7 and SRO8, in the City of Everett. This project will reduce total <br />suspended solids (TSS) and peak flows to the Snohomish River through stormwater separation, stormwater treatment, and flow <br />control. <br />Project Long Description: <br />Amended: <br /> The RECIPIENT will design stormwater facilities in the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) SRO7 and SRO8 basins in the <br />City of Everett. The SRO7 and SRO8 drainage catchment area includes major roadways and residential use areas, with the <br />total basin area consisting of approximately 1,000 acres. The project will route stormwater to flow control, separate storm <br />systems, and provide runoff treatment of stormwater from a total of 231 acres within and adjacent to the Lowell Basin.
