GENERAL INFORMATION Project Title: Water Quality Retrofit/Improvements;City of Everett's Programmatic Effort Total Cost: $572,000.00 Total Eligible Cost: $572,000.00 Ecology Share: $429,000.00 Recipient Share: $143,000.00 The Effective Date of this Agreement is: 07/01/2021 The Expiration Date of this Agreement is no later than: 03/31/2025 Project Type: Stormwater Facility Project Short Description: This project will improve water quality in Pigeon Creek, Glenwood Creek,and Edgewater Creek through the retrofit of two existing detention ponds, installation of two TAPE GULD pretreatment devices,and installation of a bioretention facility across four sites in the city of Everett.This project will provide treatment for total suspended solids(TSS)oil (total petroleum hydrocarbons), and floatables from surface water runoff. Project Long Description: The RECIPIENT will design and construct stormwater treatment facilities at four separate site locations in the city of Everett. The four separate site locations are within Port Gardner Bay Watershed. The 2017 City of Everett Surface Water Comprehensive Plan, identifies Port Gardner Bay watershed as a priority for cleanup and restoration by the Puget Sound Initiative.These projects are linked to address a combined water quality effort within the watershed and City.The facilities at each site are described below.
