Sullivan Park Playground Replacement as approved by Ordinance 3884-22 <br />$ 30,000 Thornton A. Sullivan Park Dome Roof Replacement (design)as approved by Ordinance 3885-22 <br />$ 1,000,000 Silver Lake Trail as approved by Ordinance 3886-22 <br />$ 300,000 for the Annual Street Overlay program <br />This amendment increases the Reserve for Parks budget by $83,534 to complete the 0.85 acre off-leash dog area at Lowell Riverfront <br />Park. The project was originally scheduled to be completed in 2021, but was finished and opened to the public in June of 2022. The <br />funds remaining at the end of 2021 were inadvertently left out of the reappropriations in budget amendment #1. This amendment <br />corrects that oversight. <br />The City has had a couple of large settlements and an overall increase in worker’s compensation claims. We are proposing an <br />amendment of just under $3 million to cover those costs. The funding source is the self-insurance fund’s fund balance. This will put <br />the Tort Reserve under its target amount, so we will be working to restore its fund balance over the next couple of years. The <br />Worker’s Comp subfund has sufficient fund balance to accommodate this amendment. <br />Tally 2022 <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />
